What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mowing Crew Team Member position at GreenStar Landscaping, LLC?
We are looking for an experienced and responsible candidate to join our mowing team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating lawn maintenance equipment such as zero turn / stand on commercial mowers, trimmers, backpack blower’s, hedge trimmers, hand tools etc.
Daily tasks include but not limited to; mowing multiple properties a day while maintaining straight, clean lines without blowing clippings into mulch beds or leaving tire marks on sidewalks. Blowing off all hard surfaces with a backpack blower when mowing is completed, and weed eating all areas that mowers aren't able to access safely.
- Must have attention to detail and striving for 100% customer satisfaction.
- Ability to be work in a team environment and be efficient in job duties.
- In addition this candidate would be working with landscape maintenance and installation crew as needed.
- Start Date will be Mid- March 2025
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 years of commercial and residential mowing experience.
- At least 1 year experience in the landscaping industry.
- Valid Drivers License
- Reliable transportation to work & ability to be on time.
- Ability to obtain a PA Medical Card within 10 days of hire date.
- Winter snow removal, when needed.

Shop is located at 3221 W. Pine Grove Road, PA Furnace - Must be able to report to this location for work. (Approx. 15 mins outside State College, PA)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
