Title: Water Mitigation Technician (emergency services)

Location: Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006

Schedule: Monday-Friday - 8 hr day shift (overtime available when necessary, weekend/night availability mandatory as we rotate an on-call schedule)

What your day might look like:

• Communicating with customers about the loss and mitigation process
• Installing containment and safety mechanisms
• Installing and monitoring drying equipment
• Providing emergency cleaning and sanitizing services
• Conducting controlled demolition services
• Complete work orders, photo documentation
• Securing testing samples for lead and asbestos
• Managing, packing, and moving client’s contents/personal property
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls during on-call rotation
• Keeping fleet vehicles cleaned and presentable
• Drive a company vehicle

Requirements & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Lead Technician experience: 3 years
• Restoration industry experience: 3 years
• MICA Proficient
• Pass a background check & drug test
• A valid driver’s license
• Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds at a time
• Ability to sit in a vehicle for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to withstand prolonged periods of exposure to noise created by power tools, equipment, and heavy machinery
• Ability to withstand exposure to standard work site environments and some confined spaces

Bonus Points

• Insurance restoration industry experience: 3 years
• IICRC certifications in Water, Fire and Mold restoration
