What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Representative position at Greentech Renewables Central Division?
We are looking for a detail-oriented self-starter for an Inside Sales Account Rep to oversee sales through customer service, coordinate logistics and deliveries, and assist with inventory management while contributing to a team-oriented sales environment. For this role the employee will be problem solving with our customers to come up with solar equipment and finance solutions, processing orders, and coordinating logistics to guarantee accurate, timely and efficient delivery. Along with developing a solar sales acumen to engage customers and material vendors, this multi-role sales position requires strong teamwork and communication skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop relationships with new and existing solar customers and provide information to maximize sales and profits
- Conduct market research, including supply chain availability, financing offers, and installation volume
- Ensure daily jobsite deliveries occur successfully from quote or order preparation to delivery
- Coordinate with warehouse staff so daily order staging runs smoothly to include pulling orders as necessary
- Purchasing, Warehouse, Material Receiving, and Back Office training tracks give a complete view of how a Greentech functions like a small business with the backing of a hands off parent company
- Participate in weekly cycle counts to aid inventory control
- Pursue prices and allocation from international vendors to meet monthly customer demand needs
- Engage industry stakeholders at policy and educational events
- Quotes prices, prepare proposals, and provide information regarding terms of sales and delivery dates.
- Educate customers on best financial and technical practices related to the solar PV industry
- Travel to industry trade shows, locally or nationally, to engage with industry leaders

- Possess critical thinking and time management skills and a predilection for a high-paced workplace
- Learn aspects of managing lines of credit for customers and financing structure of the solar industry
- Handle ebbs and flows of incoming customer requests, sales, and ordering.
- Generate Purchase Orders on material for customers.
- Earn the privilege of yearly profit sharing
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline, preferred
- OR equivalent years’ experience with Eclipse business software
- Two years’ industry specific experience, preferred
This job operates in a professional office environment and various warehouse locations and conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
The compensation range for this position is $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 hourly
