Job Summary
The Food & Beverage Banquet Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests during banquet events. The Banquet Server supports the setup, execution, and breakdown of events while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism
Essential Duties include, but are not limited to:
Trust and Teamwork
- Demonstrates reliability by consistently reporting to work on time and in proper uniform.
- Collaborates with fellow team members to efficiently complete setup, breakdown, and side work responsibilities for events.
- Attends pre-shift line-up to receive and share daily event-specific information.
- Provides immediate attention to members and guests upon seating.
- Assists with seating and accommodates any special needs, ensuring every member feels welcomed and valued.
Innovation:
- Showcases creativity and adaptability when addressing member inquiries and resolving event-related issues.
- Provides knowledgeable menu suggestions, including food, wine, and cocktail pairings, to enhance the event experience.
- Assembles and presents food and beverages with visual appeal, utilizing appropriate garnishes and techniques.
Effective Communication:
- Ensures accurate billing by correctly inputting member names and charges into the POS system.
- Promptly communicates with management regarding any issues related to food, service, or member concerns.
- Clearly presents and explains event menus, offerings, and special details to members and guests.
- Maintains clear communication with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure smooth service flow.
Balance and Appreciation:
- Prioritizes member and guest satisfaction by anticipating and addressing their needs throughout event.
- Clears dishes, glassware and replaces silverware as necessary.
- Serves coffee, cordials, and desserts with attention to detail.
- Upholds event timelines and service standards.
- Ensures banquet areas are clean and organized before, during, and after events.
Education and/or Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year or experience in fine dining food and beverage service
• Private club experience a plus

Physical Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age of older
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to work nights and weekends required
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and move throughout the event space as needed
- Repetitive motions such as carrying trays at shoulder level (up to 25lbs)
- Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 50lbs, with occasional pushing and pulling of similar weights
