Join the team at Discovery Island Waterpark, a premier aquatic facility located in Greenville, SC. We are seeking dedicated Lifeguards for the 2025 Summer Season. This role is integral to ensuring the safety and well-being of our patrons. Lifeguards will supervise swimmers, enforce rules and regulations and maintain the cleanliness of our facility. This position offers flexible scheduling, including day, night, weekend, and some holiday work throughout the summer season. Lifeguard training is provided free of charge by Greenville Rec, and certification is not required at the time of application.
Responsibilities
- Supervise swimmers and enforce rules and regulations to ensure safety and well-being of patrons.
- Perform general facility cleaning, including removing debris from pool, cleaning restrooms, and other public areas.
- Stock restrooms with supplies.
- Receive and respond effectively to inquiries, concerns, complaints, and requests for assistance from patrons or other staff members.
Qualifications
- Must be 15 years of age or older.
- Must possess or obtain Starguard Lifeguard certification. Training is provided free of charge by Greenville Rec and certification is not required at the time of application.
Compensation
The starting pay rate for this position is $12.98/hour.
