Position Summary:
Greenville Federal has an excellent full-time opportunity for a self-motivated, goal driven individual to join a growing and dynamic banking sales team. Successful candidate must be a self-starter, have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, able to promote a strong sales environment and enjoy working with people. Knowledge and experience in banking center operations and attaining sales goals is required along with previous experience in banking center management. This position will be located at our Tipp City Banking Center in Tipp City, OH. The successful candidate will work a flexible schedule that includes Saturdays. Hours and days may change due to scheduling needs (vacation, etc.) The hours for this position are approximately as follows: Monday through Thursday 8:00AM to 5:00PM; Fridays 8:00AM to 6:00PM and Saturday 8:00AM to 12:00PM. If scheduled to work a Saturday, a full day off is scheduled the previous week.
Essential Job Functions:
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and proven sales record
- Ability to handle cash transaction with a high degree of accuracy
- Experience in deposit account opening and consumer lending
- Proficient computer skills including Windows, Word and Excel a plus
- Ability to manage a branch sales team in deposit and loan generation
- Experience in and willingness to learn consumer lending; including but not limited to vehicle, unsecured, and share loans.
- Responsible for being knowledgeable on all business and retail products including the onboarding & offboarding processes.
- Responsible for cross selling products and services to generate new business for Greenville Federal.
- Responsible for their own individual sales goals along with their portion of the banking center cross sales goals.
- Responsible to retain and grow existing business relationships with Greenville Federal.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required, associate's degree a plus.
Experience: Previous banking knowledge and associate's degree or better encouraged.
Skills & Knowledge: Knowledge and experience in banking center operations and a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals. Past management and coaching experience (preferably bank management or supervisory role)
