Position Summary
As a Team GRS General Labor Assistant starting at $13-$16 per hour, you will be tasked with assisting crews where needed with job site preparation, cleanup, demolition and new system construction. This position spans both divisions of Team GRS including disaster restoration and radon mitigation and will include on-the-job training in basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical and finish work. Day to day responsibilities include ensuring all necessary tools and materials are loaded onto trucks for transport to job sites, assisting crew leads with demolition, material removal, excavation and other relevant tasks, ensuring job sites are maintained to be clean and orderly at all times, and ensuring tools, equipment and materials are safely locked away and accounted for at the end of each working day. Your success in this role will be determined by your willingness to learn, take on new tasks and responsibilities, and by the results of your thorough and effective performance on individually assigned tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Load necessary tools and materials onto work trucks each day as directed by crew supervisor
- Assist crews with demolition work where necessary and with prep work for replacement and reconstruction
- Ensure waste materials are removed from working areas and discarded in appropriate bins
- Assist crew leads with reconstruction of individual elements as assigned
- Ensure job site is clean and orderly at all times and that all tools and equipment are in proper functioning condition
- Safely stow all materials and tools in locked units at the end of each day
- Pick up additional tools land materials from shop and warehouses as needed

Job Requirements
- Must be able to reliably commute or be willing to relocate to Greenville, SC
- Must be available and able to work on site from 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
- Must be comfortable and capable using cloud-based systems such as Gmail, Slack and other CRM systems
- Must be comfortable and capable of both written and verbal communication
- Must have valid drivers license and be authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
