JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Greenville Swamp Rabbits are seeking a dynamic, creative-thinking leader to spearhead the revenue-marketing and brand-building departments of the Team’s Front Office. This individual will be equipped with elite resources to work alongside and will manage a complement of front office full-time employees. This position is responsible for assisting the Vice President, Sales, in reaching sales goals through a variety of grassroots and marketing efforts and will have direct oversight, and development, of team campaigns geared towards positive brand recognition and perceptions. Specifically, this candidate will be a creative thinker with a gift for elevating a company’s brand, resulting in business and consumer growth. This position will manage 4 full-time positions, in addition to a marketing agency and design firm. This position will report to the Team’s President.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads the development and execution of the strategic vision for all marketing; media; and creative operations of the organization, ensuring alignment with the Team’s mission and purpose; consistency with a brand voice and brand look; with special focus for a polished, professional, clean product.
- In tandem with the Vice President, Sales, this position will be expected to grow revenue-generating outlets, beyond direct outbound ticket sales. Namely, theme night single game ticket sales and in-arena ancillary revenues will be priorities for this job.
- Be a relationship-driven representative of the Team; building and fostering key relationships with community and civic leaders; corporate partners and key stakeholders.
- From creative concept to execution – creates, plans and oversees the implementation of all marketing campaigns and strategies to drive awareness, fan engagement, community loyalty and lead generation for brand-development and specific initiative successes.
- Develops and provides consistency for a brand voice, aligned with the Team’s mission and purpose
- Develops and integrates KPIs to measure success and evaluate effectiveness of the team’s marketing strategies, using data collected to make informed business decisions, and adapting as necessary to improve results.
- Proactively seek new creative ideas to integrates the Team’s corporate and community partners as well as season ticket holders and other key stakeholders of the team.
- Assist ticket sales staff to achieve the overall ticket sales revenue goals of the team.
- Execute game day responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of proven sales-generating marketing, multimedia, community & corporate relations experience
- 3 year of experience in a sports team front office or college athletics a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Have a self-starter mentality, with a desire to take initiative and think creativity.
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced multidisciplinary team environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
