GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the CCE - Corp and Continuing Edu department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
- Instruct in classroom and lab practicum in the 16 week Sterile Processing Technician Program
- Develop syllabi, lesson plans, skill competencies, and exams that are in accordance 2025 Healthcare Sterile Processing Association.
- Assess and evaluate the adult learners’ comprehension and competency in the classroom, lab, and clinical externship areas.
- Participate in clinical site visits while the students are in the clinical externship.
- Appropriately and effectively, manage the classroom environment; proactively identify and report issues that may hinder student retention/success to the Program Director promptly.
- Serve as the program liaison with local medical centers as well as secure new clinical sites the student clinical experience.
- Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, other instructors, businesses and peers to plan and deliver training in the service area of Greenville Technical College.
- Keep current on regulatory changes and changes in trends in areas of responsibility
- Work in a team environment to accomplish long and short-term goals for the program, department

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
CRCST - Certified Registered Central Service Technician and/or Surgical Technologist
2-3 years supervisory experience
4-6 years of recent experience in a perioperative setting
Proficient with Blackboard Ultra learning management system, software including Microsoft 365 including Teams, and Zoom meetings.
Available to instruct Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm
Available to perform clinical student site visits for 4 weeks/yearly from 8:00 am to 4:30pm
