Greenville University seeks a full time Assistant/Associate Professor to lead the academic offerings of the Organizational Leadership degree program. The majority of courses are delivered in an online format. Position is responsible for scheduling of courses and instructors, evaluating and improving the program, advising students, and carrying an appropriate teaching load. The selected candidate must provide evidence of a vibrant Christian faith, clearly understand, and internalize the mission of Greenville University, and articulate the value of Christian higher education. As a faculty member, the selected candidate will participate in departmental and university committee assignments and other activities to advance the mission of Greenville University.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Deliver high-quality undergraduate instruction to online students in the Organizational Leadership program and as needed, on-campus students in the Business Management program, emphasizing experiential education. Course topics include, but are not limited to: Organizational Leadership, Group Dynamics, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and Leadership and Professional Ethics.
- Teach 12-13 credits per fall and spring semesters.
- Contribute to the improvement and development of current and future programs.
- Use computer technologies relevant to the discipline to cover face-to-face, hybrid, and online course formats.
- Supervise and advise students, pray for them, and help them in their academic and spiritual formation.
- Perform University service, including committee work as assigned.
- Engage in department and campus service activities.
- Participate in professional development, including grant writing and research activities.
- Assist with recruiting and marketing activities to build student awareness of the organizational leadership program and support student retention efforts.
- Commit to the development and execution of experiential learning opportunities, including connecting with area business, community, and non-profit leaders.
- Teaching skills and practical experience in the related course material are expected.
- Must be well organized and able to present material using various methods in the online environment.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to relate complex concepts to diverse audiences, and demonstrated cultural competency.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Earned doctorate in Organizational Leadership or closely related field.
Experience: teaching experience at the university level, both in the face-to-face and online formats.
The successful candidate will have content expertise and teaching passion to develop the creative minds of undergraduate students in the leadership and business disciplines within a Christian worldview.

Salary Range: $43,500.00 - $58,000.00 / Annually. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions and department budget.
