Greenville University is committed to providing immersive semester long experiences to students. The purpose of these experiences institutes is advance the mission of Greenville University outside the walls of Greenville University.
We currently offer the CLIMB Experience which is a semester abroad program located on the SCORE International Ministries campus in Juan Dollo, Dominican Republic. As well the Contemporary Music center in Nashville, TN. At this experience institute students spend 15 weeks with working professionals and 30 other students to produce and perform a music tour. We have now added an experience institute in Evergreen, CO to allow students to combine their love of horses with practical skills and knowledge that would prepare students for meaningful jobs and/or continued education. All classes offered are accredited through Greenville University in Greenville, IL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract students to the Evergreen Experience Insititute
- Build and maintain relationships with gap year organizations, advisors, high schools, and community partners to promote our programs and opportunities.
- Coordinate outreach efforts to engage prospective students through informational sessions, campus visits, and virtual events.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop targeted messaging and materials aimed at the targeted demographics.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for experience institute students and their families, providing information, guidance, and support throughout the enrollment process.
- Stay informed about trends and developments in the industry, including emerging programs, best practices, and relevant research.
- Analyze recruitment data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with admissions, financial aid, and academic departments to facilitate a smooth transition for gap year students into GU’s programs.
- Represent our institution at gap year fairs, conferences, and other events to promote our offerings and build our presence within the gap year community.
- Collaborate with student affairs and campus life teams to develop support services and resources tailored to the needs of gap year students.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Previous experience in recruitment, admissions, or enrollment management, with specific experience working with gap year students preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as schools, organizations, and community groups.
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in gap year programming, experiential education, and student development.
- Familiarity with enrollment management systems and data analysis tools.
- Passion for supporting student success and promoting access to higher education opportunities.

- Ability and desire to work effectively in a challenging, goal-oriented sales environment.
- Creative and enthusiastic. • Computer skills; especially Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- An understanding of how to responsibly utilize Social Media in a work environment.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to manage time well on a varying work schedule
Salary Range: $48,700-$58,000/ Annually. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions and department budget.
