The Greenville University Men’s Basketball program is seeking applicants for the appointment of Graduate Assistant Coach. This appointment begins June 1, 2025. This Graduate Assistant will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the Men’s Basketball program as well as secondary responsibilities assigned by the Athletic Director.
Compensation includes a stipend and a tuition waiver for a master’s program at Greenville University.
To be eligible for the Graduate Assistant position, applicants must complete the graduate program application, receive provisional acceptance, and enroll in a Greenville University graduate program. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship as all Greenville University Graduate Programs are offered online only.

Areas of Responsibility:
- Academic & Spiritual Mentorship: Support student-athletes’ academic progress and lead team Bible studies or faith-based mentorship initiatives.
- Coaching & Training: Assist in planning and leading practices and competitions.
- Recruitment & Retention: Help identify and engage prospective student-athletes through emails, phone calls, letters, and social media.
- Administrative Support: Manage team operations, maintain databases, and assist in fundraising, marketing, and community outreach.
- Game Day & Event Management: Assist with athletic events, performances, and university-related activities as assigned by the Director of Athletics
