What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Worker- International Shuttle Driver position at Greenville University?
ApplyDescriptionThe Office of International Affairs is looking for a reliable and trustworthy shuttle driver. Qualifcations and requirements include but are not limited to :
- Must be or Become a GU approved driver.
- Must have a valid U.S. drivers license for a minimum of 2 years
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Must have a good driving record, no major moving violations.
- Weekends and nights are required in 3 to 4 hour increments.
- Shopping trips are held once a month on Sundays.Pay is $10.00 / hour. Drives are scheduled in advance notice for approved drivers to the following locations for new international student airport pick up, STL Amtrack, STL international markets, Walmart, and some entertainment venues.Drivers who cancel scheduled drives more than 2-3 times a semester without advanced notice of at least 72 hours will be terminated.RequirementsMust Be a GU undergraduate student enrolled in 6 credit hours.To drive a campus vehicle, all persons must recieve prior approval for each trip for campus business purposes only, all persons must take a online driver safety course, pass a driving background check, and must be on the current GU Approved Driver list for the type of vehicle they will be driving.
