Accountant/Auditor I
Salary Range $60,694.40 - $94,057.60 (Commensurate with experience)
Anticipated Hiring Range - $60,694.40 - $77,376.00
JOB DUTIES
Position available for person to:
- Perform accounts payable processing including but not limited to, three-way matching, reconciling supplier statements, responding to inquiries, maintaining files, year-end tax documents, and customer refunds
- Process and audit purchase card transactions
- Process the monthly self-assessed sales tax payment to the state
- Enter monthly contractor sales tax journal entries
- Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Perform general accounting using accounting principles and cost accounting
- Post journal entries & adjusting journal entries to the general ledger
- General ledger account reconciliation
- Assists with the annual audit.
- Assists in maintaining overall financial records.
- Assist with accounting software upgrades and testing efforts
- Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum job requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably with a major in accounting or similar field
- One to three years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and analysis
Anticipated work schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
