Program Manager
Salary Range: $82,576.00 - $127,982.40 Anticipated Hiring Range: $82,576.00 - $105,289.60 Commensurate with Experience.
Job Description:
Position requires on-site attendance; this is not a remote work position.
Work Schedule: M-F 8AM - 5PM
This position will serve a key role, assisting the IT Managers and Director in developing and providing oversight for strategic projects. This position will matrix manage internal resources, to include IT and non-IT personnel, in coordinated efforts to meet defined goals. in addition, this position will provide direct oversight of contract resources engaged to complete IT projects costing upwards of $5 million dollars. The position will also serve as the subject-matter expert and lead for project management, governance, procurement, and business analyst functions, to include: developing policies and procedures, as well as, providing training and guidance when and where needed. Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Managing new IT system implementations and upgrades from conception to completion, to include: roadmap planning, project management, change management, requirements analysis, and solutions design.
- Assisting with strategic plan and program initiative development, while leading execution, and maintenance activities.
- Leading, supervising, and coordinating committees, subcommittees, and work groups with diverse backgrounds to ensure on-going support of GUC's goals and objectives.
- Developing service metrics and creating and developing reports and documentation for communication to all levels of GUC.
- Leading efforts to develop, standardize, implement, maintain, and promote procurement, governance, and IT operations policies, procedures, and standards.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum job requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Information or Business Administration
- Over seven years of experience
- Experience in developing documentation/communications, facilitating/leading meetings, and project/program management
- Valid Driver's License
- PMP certification is preferred
