Duties
- Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective tenants through effective customer relationship management.
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units, highlighting features and benefits to potential renters.
- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize occupancy rates and enhance tenant satisfaction.
- Address tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with facilities management to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet safety standards.
- Assist in the preparation of contracts and legal documents related to leasing agreements.
- Stay informed about local housing regulations, including LIHTC compliance, to ensure adherence to legal requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property leasing or facilities management is preferred.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on relationship building.
- Familiarity with legal administrative tasks related to property leasing is advantageous.
- Knowledge of property maintenance practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
