As a Mobile Service Technician at Veterans Ford, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our valued customers by performing maintenance and repairs on their vehicles at their location.
Responsibilities:
- On-Site Service: Travel to customers' locations to perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Ford vehicles. Utilize mobile service equipment and tools to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
- Diagnostic and Repair Skills: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in accordance with Ford specifications and guidelines. Perform routine maintenance tasks and inspections.
- Guest Interaction: Interact with guest in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns and providing clear explanations of service performed.
- Documentation: Accurately document all services performed, including parts used and time spent on each job. Maintain detailed records of vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and complies with manufacturer and dealership guidelines. Conduct post-service inspections to verify the effectiveness of repairs.
Requirements:
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience as a Mobile Service Technician or a similar role. Strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing automotive issues, with a focus on Ford vehicles.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with customers and address their automotive concerns.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and resources. Proactive approach to problem-solving and service delivery.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other service technicians, advisors, and dealership staff to ensure seamless service operations.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing schedules and work environments.
Certifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification and/or Ford certifications are a plus.
