What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential and Construction Equipment Technician position at Greenway Equipment?
As a Parts Counter Assistant Manager at Greenway Equipment, you will play a key role in supporting our sales team by selling and recording products and/or services, preparing and maintaining merchandise displays, verifying shipment receipts, and maintaining the parts warehouse. You will work closely with our logistics team to ensure that shipments are received and processed efficiently, and that our customers have easy access to the parts they need.
Main Responsibilities
- Sell and record products and/or services to meet customer needs, leveraging your knowledge of our products and services to provide tailored solutions.
- Prepare and maintain merchandise displays that showcase our products in the best possible light, ensuring that they are visually appealing and easy to navigate.
- Work closely with our logistics team to verify the receipt of shipments and assist with placing orders for machine downtime and stock inventory management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices through ongoing training and development, ensuring that you have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role.
- Maintain the parts warehouse, ensuring that it is organized and well-stocked, and that our customers have easy access to the parts they need.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service, with a focus on building strong relationships and providing exceptional support.
- Have at least 1-year experience in parts department operations or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
- Show the ability to analyze and interpret basic reports related to parts department performance, using data to inform decision-making and drive results.
- Be capable of accurately processing stock orders and maintaining accurate inventory levels, with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
