Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with network hardware (e.g., routers, switches).
- perform End to End monitoring of the entire Network infrastructure suing tools and working under supervision to resolve the issues
- Understanding & troubleshooting the issues raised by customer and resolving issues within the SLA.
- Creating a change request for the new policy creation/deletion/modification in Palo alto firewall and getting it approved through the CAB.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Good communication skills.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, computer science, or another related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Six (6) years of experience supporting enterprise routed data / VPN extended networks with dynamic routing protocols
- Current Cisco CCNA required with plans to complete Cisco CCNP certification.
- AWS Experience preferred.
- A background in healthcare and healthcare technology is highly preferred
- Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers)
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, security protocols)
- Project participation experience, adhering to timelines and deliverables
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
- Experience with network administration and configuration tools
- Leadership and mentorship skills for junior team members
- Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure
- Perform network performance analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Ensure network security through appropriate measures
- Collaborate with IT teams to support overall IT infrastructure
- Maintain up-to-date network documentation and diagrams
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network hardware
- Expertise in Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, NextGen firewalls, IPSec/IKE/SSL VPN, SourceFire
- Perform end-to-end monitoring and network changes adhering to ITIL
- Understand and troubleshoot customer-reported issues within SLA
- Create and maintain detailed network documentation and incident reports
- Contribute to network-related projects, migrations, upgrades, and expansions
- Provide telephonic/chat support to clients when required
- Pursue relevant certifications and training to enhance skills
- Strong understanding of IP protocols, subnets, routing, and best practices
- Knowledge of cloud-based networking (AWS, Azure) and network security
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Cisco Routers, Wireless LAN, and dynamic routing
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for hardware/software issues
- Familiarity with Cisco network equipment and interconnectivity with other vendors (Brocade/HP)
- Collaborate with the Network Engineering team to develop solutions to complex problems
- Configure, test, and maintain network environments for cloud solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation (Visio drawings, network configurations)
- Provide technical support for VPN, MPLS, IPSec, PoE, and other communication peripherals
- Mentor Associate Network Engineers and work with Senior Network Engineers as needed
- Provide network security guidance and ensure data network reliability
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with network hardware (e.g., routers, switches).
- Good understanding of network monitoring concepts and management tools.
- Basic understanding of ITIL / Service Management Principles
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Good communication skills.
