Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborates with Product Management, User Researchers, Customers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to design AI-augmented experiences that enhance product value
- Designs interfaces for AI-powered features including conversational UI, predictive elements, and personalization systems
- Works closely with front-end engineers to assist in translating interactive prototypes into functional working front-end code
- Ability to quickly communicate design ideas by sketching and/or wireframing
- Creates interactive prototypes that demonstrate high-level workflow and/or specific UI interactions as needed
- Follows established standards and utilizes existing design patterns to ensure a consistent and intuitive user experience as well as defines any new design patterns
- Stays abreast of industry trends and best practice for design as well as AI
- Provides advisement to internal teams on the appropriate solution design to answer critical questions
- Helps mentor other UX Designers on the team answering questions
- BA/BS in Interaction Design, Graphic Design or related work experience
- 4 years of software design experience
- Experience with Healthcare is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience with Agile development is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience with multimodal interfaces (voice, gesture, text)
- Proficiency with AI-enhanced design tools (Figma with AI plugins, Claude Sonnet, DALL-E 3, etc.)
- Understands all aspects of design: including information architecture, visual design, industry UI standards for desktop and web-based applications, and UX best practices
- Analytical and detailed oriented, gifted in workflow analysis
- Expertise in designing adaptive interfaces that respond to user behavior patterns
- Proficient with design tools, such as Axure, Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator is preferred
- Microsoft Office and productivity related applications
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and personal organization skills
- While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for the majority of the workday
- This role requires that one can sit and regularly type on a keyboard the majority of their workday
- This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time to observe their own and others’ work, as well as, in-coming and out-going communications via the computer and/ or mobile devices
