What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Lab Technician position at GreenWay LLC?
We are one of Washington's largest i502 producer/processors and we have recently expanded! Looking for an entry-level Lab Technician to join our team in Deming, this role will also support the processing of cannabis materials as needed. A great opportunity for entry-level candidates to become involved with an established brand in this growing industry!
Our Lab Technicians process cannabis and produce related products with tasks such as weighing and measuring, heating, mixing and storing based on a prescribed procedure, and running production or processing large equipment. The ideal candidate will have some exposure to or experience in a laboratory environment, intermediary computer skills (including Excel), and enjoy a variety of tasks just as much as focusing on a single process as needed. You can listen to your own music while you work - but you must be able to complete your work accurately in compliance with WA LCB guidelines, and be an asset by completing or beating daily goals.
Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 4pm
Required skills:
- Must be reliable, pride in your regular attendance is essential
- Demonstrate high attention to detail, all orders must be accurate
- Ability to stand or sit during your shift and lift up to 49 lbs.
- Ability to learn and follow rules for state compliance
- Background in chemistry is very helpful but not required
We do not hire out of state. Must be 21 in compliance with WA LCB guidelines, have reliable transportation, and able to pass a background check for employment.
