Electrical Engineer
Overview:
At Greenwell Engineering, we understand the need for top-notch to tools and service to successful oil and gas operations. That’s why our team of experts are dedicated in providing innovative solutions that are designed with precision and accuracy. We're now hiring an Electrical Engineer to join our existing top-notch team. The entry level engineer will start off shadowing our tool repair and maintenance lead for a period of 2-3 months to become familiar with the tools and components used in oil and gas wireline. After completing the showing period, the engineer will be assigned to a team project which includes Sr. level engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Design, control, and implement electrical systems and products.
- Develop hardware/software during manufacturing processes according to global engineering codes and standards.
- Manage engineering projects from prototyping to field production.
- Define customer needs and requirements.
- Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards.
- Understanding the operation and maintenance of our products and the ability to train field clients while providing a positive company image.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes.
- Summarize data and report on test results.
- Examine needs on new equipment, calculate costs and help prepare budgets.
- Monitor maintenance and inspection plans.
- Digital Design utilizing embedded micro-controller systems, microprocessor systems, and programmable logic design.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as record keeping and filing.
- Ability to work independently.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Entry Level Electrical Engineering
- Familiarity in electrical design with emphasis on embedded programable devices such as microprocessors, micro-controllers, FPGAs, programable logic devices - PLDs.
- Proficiency in C programming would be desirable.
- Familiarity with the Warrior Well Logging Software v7 and v8 preferred.
- Comfortable with routinely shifting demands.
- High degree of attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk/worktable.
- Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds at times.
