Join The Spire School, a NEASC-accredited and Connecticut State Approved Special Education Program. As an independent, therapeutic day school for Grades 8–12, we support intellectually capable students who face academic and emotional challenges. What we offer:
Compensation: Base salary ranging from $80,000.00 to $100,000.00, depending on education and experience.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in establishing and enforcing high academic and behavioral standards.
- Collaborate with leadership on school improvement initiatives and curriculum oversight.
- Supervise and evaluate teachers and Life Coaches.
- Manage student academic progress, ensuring adherence to IEPs.
- Coordinate and administer state and College Board assessments.
- Lead professional development and support classroom management.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including extended school year programs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of administrative or leadership experience at the school or district level.
- Strong ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups, including students, families, and staff.
- Experience in educating students with differentiated instruction needs and emotional/learning challenges.
- Master’s Degree in Special Education preferred.
- Connecticut Certificate for Administration and Supervision (092) required.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching, leading, and collaborative teamwork.
