What we offer:
Compensation: Base salary ranging from $60,000.00 to $85,000.00, depending on education and experience.

Job Responsibilities:
- Implement Educational Therapy Model during students’ weekly counseling sessions, i.e., executive function coaching, CBT, DBT, etc., to promote social/emotional and academic skill development
- Hold weekly 1:1 and group sessions with students for counseling, academic and social-emotional check-ins, and skill-development
- Actively collaborate on the development and implementation of students’ individual learning plans (ILPs) or individual education plans (IEPs); review/discuss student issues/profiles/progress with team members.
- Engage with faculty, parents and providers as needed, maintain ongoing communication with students’ parents, teachers, and mental health professional(s)
- Conduct regular review of students’ academic accounts to identify need for academic interventions, teacher communication, and/or classroom observation
- Maintain consistent communication with Head of School and Education Director regarding student/ parent/faculty issues
- Develop and implement curricula for psychoeducation, social skills, academic/ counseling support and other therapeutic groups
- Lead/co-lead Spire Groups, including Know Thyself, Executive Function Workshop, process group, parent-child groups, and more
- Assist students with transition planning and the college application process
- Design and implement summer therapy groups and curricula
- Conduct Initial phone inquiries and summaries for prospective students
- Implement PBIS systems to improve school climate and foster a positive peer culture
- Serve as occasional proctor for testing and classes, as needed
- Fulfill other therapeutic and supportive duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience with middle/high school students with social/emotional challenges
- CT Certification - School Social Worker (#071); LCSW preferred
