Overview
We are looking for a youth Baseball Coach to join our organization. We have five teams and next year will add a 6th. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either playing or coaching baseball, and possess the outlook necessary to inspire and develop players . This role requires a commitment to fostering a positive and competitive environment, while emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Duties
- Contribute to and lead training programs that enhance players' skills and understanding of the game.
- Lead or assist in regular practices focusing on individual techniques, team strategies, and game situations.
- Help provide constructive feedback to players to help them improve their performance.
- Collaborate with the organization (and other Coaches) to oversee team activities, including games, tournaments, and conditioning sessions.
- Promote a culture of respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship among players
- Collaborate with other coaching staff to create a cohesive coaching strategy
Qualifications
- Must have played college baseball (minimally) and/or have at least 5 years of coaching experience (not necessarily head coaching experience)
- Leadership abilities with communication skills to motivate and engage players.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in coaching methodologies.
