Help Desk Technician
We are a fast-growing IT Company (Managed Service Provider) that is seeking a Help Desk Tech/Tier 2 Tech to join our team.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Level 1 helpdesk knowledge (workstation/server operating systems, networking hardware, printers, etc)
- The ability to troubleshoot helpdesk requests efficiently
- The willingness to learn new skills and technologies
- The ability to quickly learn our management tools, as well as our company processes
- Efficient typing skills necessary
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Clean driving record
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Auditing backup solutions and ensuring alerts are resolved in a timely manner
- Troubleshooting EU systems including some basic server infrastructure or networking equipment
- Keeping accurate record of time and expenses in our PSA as work is performed
- Working with your team to escalate more advanced tickets as required
- Basic Active Directory e.g., user unlocks or password resets
- Mobile device support as needed
- Email account creation and management, Microsoft 365
- Monitor alerts to promptly investigate outage incidents or backup failures
- Other duties as assigned
Compensation is negotiable based on skill and experience
