We are currently seeking a dynamic Central Admissions Coordinator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive admissions, foster strong industry relationships, and ensure seamless transitions for our residents.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Healthcare Experience: At least 2 years in a role such as Clinical Liaison, Director of Marketing, or Admissions Director, with a proven track record of census growth.
- Sales Expertise: Strong ability to present our services effectively and build valuable industry connections to enhance our payor mix.
- Clinical Insight: Experience reviewing referrals to assess clinical, equipment, and medication needs. LPN or Social Worker Preferred
- Insurance Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of insurance providers and financial criteria for admissions decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build Relationships: Cultivate connections with case managers, social workers, physicians, and community organizations to grow our referral network.
- Increase Admissions: Develop and execute strategies to boost admissions and market share.
- Educate Professionals: Deliver presentations to healthcare professionals about our specialized services and capabilities.
- Streamline Transitions: Collaborate with the Administrator, Nursing, Business Office, and Admissions teams to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to facility.
- Engage the Community: Attend networking events to promote the facility and expand our customer base.
- Manage Referrals: Evaluate clinical and financial information from referral sources and communicate decisions to hospital discharge planners.
