POSITION OVERVIEW

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Flexible schedule with the ability to travel if needed
- Initiate cultural and academic experiences for students to demonstrate a depth of understanding of state standards and testing requirements.
- Research and create lessons that complement/supplement Expeditionary Learning Practices to meet the needs of individual students.
- Assess student academic progress, performance, and attendance individually and weekly with teaching team.
- Provide students and parents with regular feedback regarding student performance, progress, and academic needs, and respond to intervention.
- Actively learn and grow as a teacher.
- Be dedicated to the growth and success of each student.
- Participate in all staff meetings and professional development sessions.
- Create a classroom of high expectations consistent with the school’s mission.
- Establish solid relationships with students’ families, opening up your classroom to parents and developing volunteer opportunities for parents and community members to contribute to our educational environment.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 per week

- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
