Business Development Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming appointment phone calls according to script and schedule a sales appointment.
- Respond to Customer website requests.
- Contacting guests via email, phone, text message to schedule a customer appointment to view their vehicle options
- Using a consultative selling process to match the best vehicle to the guest’s needs
- Contact Customers based on current marketing initiatives.
- Creating a great experience for the guest
- Following up with guests to ensure satisfaction
- Prospecting through referrals and other creative approaches
- Setting and achieving targeted sales goals
- Gaining superior knowledge to effectively help guests
- Setting appointments for our guests to visit our dealership
- Daily interactions with the direct supervisor, guests, Sales Managers, other Sales Associates, F&I Managers, and administrative personnel, just to name a few.
Business Development Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass a background screen
- Prior sales experience preferred but not required
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
- Organization and follow-up skills
- Experience and desire to work with technology
- Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
