Position Summary: The Quality Engineer is responsible for conducting root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation, non-conformance management, managing special projects, participating in internal audits, working with manufacturing to develop and draft procedures, and facilitating a customer-focused culture in line with the Quality Management System.

- Ensure that the Core Processes are producing the intended results as per the QMS.
- Drive root-cause-corrective-action implementation.
- Conduct Internal Audits.
- Review specifications.
- Coordinate with external quality assurance auditors and technicians to ensure compliance.
- Work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by meeting customer expectations.
- Provide QMS training and ensure the organization is educated on and understands the QMS requirements, and their individual responsibilities.
- Review RFQs, and resulting Purchase Orders, to ensure product & service requirements have been identified, understood and can be satisfied.
- Develop and oversee Control of Nonconforming Product process.
- Work with Operations, Supply Chain, and other affected process owners to ensure nonconforming product is dispositioned, the cause is established, and the appropriate remedial action is taken.
- Champion the Corrective Action process, including the logging and distribution of internal & external CARs, and ensuring RCCAs are adequate, appropriate, and effectively resolve the cause of the nonconformity.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Manufacturing Experience is a plus
- Experience with Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 Rev. D a plus
- Strong communication skills - verbal & written
- Attention to detail, critical thinker, problem-solving skills
- Team player / ability to work well in a team environment
