The Warehouse Associate performs tasks to ensure accurate and timely transactions by following department processes and procedures to safely operate equipment while handling material (i.e., loading and unloading of material) within a warehouse or storage facility, ensuring compliance within the facility as it relates to quality, productivity, safety, and security.

Responsibilities
- Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jack, hoists, conveyors, or handling equipment to move material to and from delivery transportation vehicles and within warehouse or storage facility or work in process
- Promotes safety awareness and immediately reports any unsafe acts, conditions, or unsafe equipment in the facility
- Uses proper and appropriate forklift practices to safely, accurately, and efficiently unload material (i.e., from trailers, warehouse, etc.)
- Maintains a clean and orderly work environment while ensuring housekeeping duties are completed as required
- Performs daily forklift inspections per required criteria
- Performs all operations in a safe manner by following safety regulations, policies, and procedures
- Inspects pallets for proper packaging, stacking, and labeling according to specifications and removes trash, damaged pallets, and cardboard from the production areas as needed
- Works with other employees to ensure positive employee relations within the team
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
- Performs responsibilities with a focus on efficiency and quality
- Cleans daily all assigned areas of the shop
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 6 months of relevant warehouse experience using material handling equipment (i.e., Forklift)
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation(s)
- Strong work ethic with proven ability to support a positive team environment
- Ability to complete necessary training and follow safety policies, procedures, and processes
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize with an emphasis on quality of work and sense of urgency
- Ability to hold self accountable for areas of responsibility and for actions
- Willingness and desire to perform responsibilities accurately and efficiently with a high level of customer service
- Ability to successfully obtain a forklift certification (both written and practical tests)
- Greater than 6 months of experience in a warehouse or production environment in a material handling role with extensive knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in the material handling field is preferred

- Tends wastewater process to neutralize and decontaminate waste streams generated from chemical processing equipment.
- Monitors process to ensure compliance with local, state and federal wastewater regulations and standards.
- Reports process malfunctions to Supervisor or Team Leader.
- Collects wastewater samples and performs various tests, such as, pH,
- Cleans and calibrates test equipment.
- Performs visual and physical inspections of the process.
- Makes routine process adjustments or repairs.
- Collects process performance data, calculates and interprets results.
- Maintains operation records and charts.
- Prepares hazardous waste for disposal, such as, filling waste tankers and coordinating these pickups, labels waste containers, completes waste paperwork.
- Starts machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions of machine.
- Stops machine and reports malfunction to Supervisor or Team Leader.
- Be able to run and clean out all electroplating equipment and the atomic analyzer.
- Makes routine machine adjustments or repairs, such as, clearing.
- Prepares hazardous waste for disposal, coordinating these pickups.
- Generates hazardous waste, labels containers and meets other container storage requirements.
- Maintains packaging supplies, such as, boxes, cartons, labels, etc.
- Performs quality inspection to ensure that products meet quality specifications.
- Maintains records, such as, production volume, product type, quality check sheets, machine check sheets, etc.
- Effectively works with others within the team to achieve team goals.
- Effectively communicates with co-workers and supervisor.
- Mixes chemicals for use in the processing of photofinishing papers and film.
- Weigh out quantities of chemicals, following formula sheet. Mixes prepackaged chemical concentrate according to printed instructions.
- Pours chemicals into mixing tank and turn value to admit water into tank up to mark on container wall. Maintains appropriate tank levels as required. Measure pH levels and specified gravity testing.
- Operates silver recovery.
- Maintains chemical mix, storage and tank farm areas in a safe, clean and organized environment. Complies with all corporate, manufacturer and OSHA safety policies and directives.
