What are the responsibilities and job description for the Make Ready Technician position at Greenwood Star LLC?
Greenwood Star is seeking a Make Ready/Punch Technician to join our team to assist in daily customer service operations.
Responsibilities:
- Rehabilitate all vacant apartments to rent-ready condition
- Ensure all make-ready repairs and services are completed effectively and on schedule
- Respond to resident concerns in a courteous and timely manner
- Perform occasional on-call emergency services and repairs as required
- Report and document any maintenance concerns for repairs
- Assist in monitoring and/or controlling maintenance inventory and/or supplies
- Conduct preventive maintenance procedures
- Maintain the grounds and common areas, picking up trash as necessary
- Stay current on all applicable building codes and safety standards
- Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, on or off the property
Requirements:
- Team player with the ability to work effectively with peers
- Strong communication and customer service
- Communicates in a calm and open manner regardless of circumstances
- Treats residents, coworkers, supervisors, and vendors with respect
- Responds sensitively to concerns/complaints and exhibits a sense of urgency
- Must have own tools
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Flexible with work schedule, including availability to work on-call during weekends, evenings, and holidays
