Position Summary:
The Order Fulfillment Coordinator supports the company by processing order items through order fulfillment. The ideal candidate for this position is focused, cognizant of time management, and detail oriented. The position is located in Morganton, NC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uses the warehouse management system to facilitate orders in accordance with company guidelines.
- Must guarantee that orders are properly recorded in WMS and work with the warehouse to ensure accurate shipment processing while meeting shipping requirements.
- Coordinate freight quotations and prepare bill of ladings.
- Utilize systems to track and update orders.
- Prioritize same day orders.
- Review and analyze backorder report to ensure order completion.
- Provide backup support to shipping & receiving colleagues to pack and ship packages as needed.
- Must update internal customer service ticketing system daily.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems related to order fulfillment
- Must be skilled at computer data entry and have a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to work independently but willing to get help with issues when needed.
- Must be a “team player” willing to step in and help others in the group that are experiencing a high order volume from time to time.
- Must be courteous and possess a “customer first” attitude when working with our customer over the phone to resolve issues.
Experience Required:
- Strong computer and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- A demonstrated willingness for continual learning and skill development is required
- Demonstrated effective teamwork and interpersonal skills are required, including willingness to receive direction from either supervisor or other team members to support department goals
Education and Experience:
- High school education or equivalent is required for this position
