Job Summary:
The Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our vehicle assembly production lines in Morristown. This position requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as expertise in safety, quality, maintenance, distribution, and budget management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Safety Leadership: Foster a culture of zero workplace injuries through behavior-based safety, regular safety inspections, and prompt incident investigations.
- Quality Excellence: Drive strict adherence to quality management systems, review quality metrics, and engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Maintenance and Repair: Ensure all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and in good working order, develop preventive maintenance programs, and coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Logistics and Distribution: Manage daily shipments, resolve shortfalls, and provide daily reinforcement of site responsibility to supply customers with required product.
