Green Expert Technology Inc. (GreenXT) is seeking a SCD Support Specialist to support the LHA/LHD program Ship Change Documents (SCD).
The selected candidate will work with NSWCPD client to provide Hull, Mechanical and Electrical Integrated Logistics Support for both Landing Helicopter Assault (LHA) and Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD) programs. They will work alongside the In-Service Engineering Agent and stakeholders to support tasking during the development of engineering ILS plans and documentation used in support of Navy Modernization Process Management.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize the “Entitled Process” for creating and approving Ship Change Documents (SCDs) in Navy Data Environment (NDE), and the modernization process for accomplishing all changes, modifications, and alterations to ships and equipment in the Fleet.
- Support fielding planning, including the implementation of ship change documents and alterations
- Manage SCD/SHIPALT/ECD documentation for ship control systems along with associated milestones
- Manage fielding plans and confirm windows of opportunity for ship changes
- Determine maturity of alterations prior to implementation
- Coordinate with associated Program Office, Ship Manager Representative, and shipyard to brief status to include assessment of fully matured alterations
- Participate in technical meetings and program reviews and track action items.
- Prepare formal technical presentations and technical documentation.
- Maintain change documentation and change tracking files correct and current.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain this clearance upon position acceptance) is required for this position
- 1-2 years of experience with navy programs, operations, and logistics management
- Experience with logistics programs such as NDE, CDMD-OA or EMASS
- Experience with Windows Operating Systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
- Must be a capable of working within a team or individually
