Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead our retail store team. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain a high level of store appearance, ensuring the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Oversee inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, conducting inventory audits, and ensuring accurate stock levels.
  • Train and develop store staff, including conducting performance evaluations and coaching employees to improve sales and customer service skills.
  • Manage employee orientation and onboarding processes to ensure new hires are well-equipped to perform their roles.
  • Manage employee schedules, including planning and coordinating work shifts and overtime.
  • Conduct employee disciplinary actions, as necessary, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a fair and professional manner.
  • Manage and process payroll, including ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.
  • Oversee store buying processes, including identifying and purchasing new products and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and terms.
  • Analyze sales data and provide insights to improve store performance.
  • Participate in regional and national meetings to share best practices and stay informed about company initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of retail management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Multilingual skills are an asset, but not required.
  • Proficiency in employee orientation and training development.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with payroll management and compliance with relevant labor laws.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
