Mechanic-
Duties:
- Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all vehicles and equipment
- Implements and monitors a preventative maintenance program to assure cost effective maintenance
- Implements a scheduled maintenance program to provide maintenance by manufacturers specifications
- Maintains a complete inventory of each vehicle, maintenance equipment, gasoline, repair parts, supplies
- Implements and maintains a mechanic training and certification program to provide needed technical skills for mechanics in repair of equipment
- Welds; replaces parts; repairs parts; repairs electrical systems; troubleshoots problems when needed
- Checks all repair work performed in shop for completeness. This includes physical inspections and road tests before vehicle is turned back to user departments
Requirements:
- 2 years mechanical and technical experience
- Experience working with all kinds of equipment and vehicles
- Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
- Must own tools
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- High School/GED required

Small Engine Mechanic-
Duties:
- Responsible for the maintenance and repair of small engines
- Maintains a complete inventory of equipment, gasoline, repair parts and supplies
- Welds, replaces parts, repairs parts, repairs electrical systems, troubleshoots problems when needed
- Drives to worksite where equipment needs to be repaired
Requirements:
- 1 years small engine repair experience preferred
- Experience working with all kinds of equipment
- Valid driver’s license
- Must own tools
- High School/GED preferred
