Gregg Young Buick GMC, a Gregg Young Automotive Group company, is searching for a Parts Manager to join our TEAM at our Ford dealership in Indianola, Iowa.

Parts Manager Requirements:
- 2-3 years previous dealership and/or retail parts companies experience is required
- strong knowledge of automotive parts management, excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- actively manage the Parts Department in leadership, inventory, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- leads the parts team, coordinates with other departments, and drives continuous improvement initiatives
- foster a team-oriented environment, train and develop the staff, and ensure high levels of competence and performance
- oversee inventory control processes, ensure accurate records and optimal stock levels
- implement inventory control management strategies to minimize costs and prevent stocking issues
- coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to manage parts procurement and returns efficiently
- develop, implement, and monitor sales strategies to meet changing market / mfg. demands
- monitor sales performance, analyze data, and adjust to reach the objectives
- analyze financial reports, identify areas of improvement, implement corrective action
- collaborate with the sales and service departments to identify parts sales opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction
- establish, build, maintain, and grow relationships with employees, customers, and vendors
- prepare / manage the parts department budget in accordance with the financial goals of the dept.
- ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- maintain a safe and well organized environment, promoting safety practices among staff
- strong analytical and problem solving skills with a customer focused mindset committed to providing exceptional service
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Parts Manager Employment Package:
Hours & Compensation
- Flexible work schedule (3 or 5 day work options) NO Weekends
- $50,000 - $65,000/year - experience dependent - competitive salary and performance-based incentives
