Position Title: Experienced Heavy Highway Construction Project Manager

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Heavy Highway Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of highway construction projects from inception to completion. The candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and oversee all phases of highway construction projects.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
  • Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment and progress.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as safety standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress and address any issues.
  • Prepare and present project updates, reports, and schedules to clients and management.
  • Manage procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Mitigate project risks and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Additional tasks required to support our construction team.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related Field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience managing heavy highway construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of DelDOT regulations, construction methods, and safety practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office softwares (including Planner / Project); CAD (AutoCAD or Microstation); Trimble Business Center; and HCSS (Field, Plans, etc.).

Pay: $83,200.00 - $120,640.00 per year
