Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead the construction team in developing project plans, including quality assurance and health and safety plans.
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of building construction projects to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Create fully detailed Gantt chart-style schedules using Microsoft Project to track project timelines, milestones, and critical paths.
- Manage procurement of materials, ensuring orders align with project schedules and that quantities are accurate.
- Plan, coordinate, and direct construction activities on a daily basis, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
- Provide strategic administrative support to project teams as needed.
- Foster collaboration among project teams and promote employee satisfaction throughout all construction phases.
- Proactively identify construction issues and implement timely resolutions.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and concerns, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Track construction progress, identifying potential delays and communicating them to stakeholders.
- Recognize key milestones and challenges, recommending preventive and corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Attend industry workshops, training sessions, and conferences to enhance professional development.
- Review RFI (Request for Information) responses, process change orders, and ensure timely documentation.
- Prepare construction progress reports and expense analyses for management review.
- Establish and maintain budgets and schedules for construction projects, ensuring effective financial control.
- Monitor and control project expenses, identifying opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Complete daily reports using Procore, our project management system, to document progress and issues.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required (company-provided training available if necessary).
Salary : $95,000 - $130,000
