What are the responsibilities and job description for the Explore Program Associate position at Gregory & Appel Insurance?
Shift: First Shift
Gregory & Appel is excited to launch the Explore Program and is looking to hire Explore Program Associates. This is an entry level program that has been built to provide a comprehensive understanding of agency operations and sales.
As an Explore Program Associate you will spend the next 12 months embedded in various service roles to develop a full understanding of each department. The goal of the program is to empower our Associates to find the best fit, in the best department to set them up for success in this exciting industry we call insurance.
During this dedicated time, the responsibilities of the role will include:
- Participate in department and team meetings, as well as required training sessions.
- Work closely with the account management team to foster strong client relationships.
- Engage in client meetings to discern needs and deliver solutions.
- Ensure seamless service delivery by collaborating with internal departments.
- Develop an understanding of each department and their operational challenges.
- Analyze data to ensure the effective execution of programs.
- Handle problem resolution for assigned accounts collaboratively with internal and external teams.
- Maintain accurate client account information in the agency management system as per protocols.
Sales Track:
- Spend one day per week dedicated to sales activities.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the sales process.
- Collaborate with the sales team to deepen insights into products and services.
- Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Assessments:
Throughout the program, periodic assessments will evaluate competencies in various roles and departments to ensure continuous development and readiness for subsequent roles.
Transition to Your New Department
Upon successfully acquiring proficiency in both sales and service roles, a well-defined and supported pathway will be provided for a seamless transition into a department mutually agreed upon.
