Summary:
Gregory Industries is seeking an SIC for their Raytheon Premier based at CAK. Pilots must live within 2 hours of CAK. Type rating not required; you will attend Flight Safety International for training. The right candidate will help the flight department grow and work directly alongside the Chief Pilot to implement standards and safety protocol.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive at least 90 minutes before takeoff to conduct pre-flight checks, including reviewing weather conditions, flight plans, and aircraft systems.
- Use Foreflight to file flight plans, check weather, and compute weight and balance.
- Use Airplane Manager to plan trips, coordinate passenger loads, and deconflict schedules.
- Ensure all required documentation and permits are in place.
- Assist in briefing the crew and passengers about safety protocols.
- Support the Captain in operating the aircraft, including takeoff, cruising, and landing.
- Monitor aircraft systems, navigation, and communication with air traffic control.
- Respond to any abnormal situations or emergencies as per standard operating procedures.
- Assist in completing flight logs and reporting any technical or operational issues.
- Coordinate with ground staff for refueling, maintenance, and passenger services.

- Adhere to all aviation regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Participate in regular training, simulations, and assessments to maintain certifications.
- Assist with maintenance scheduling, and spares and parts procurement.
Requirements:
- Valid FAA Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with multiengine land and instrument rating or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with multiengine land.
- Type rating preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
- Valid and current passport.
- No travel restrictions to neighboring countries.
- A desire to live and work in northern Ohio for at least two years
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, from an accredited flight school preferred, but not required
- Minimum time of 1,500 flight hours for co-pilot position. (drop this to 1000 hours if the insurance company will allow)
- 200 hours multiengine (if insurance will allow)
- 200 hours instrument (if insurance will allow)
