MAINTENANCE LEAD, PROCESSING
Maintenance Mechanic will be trained on our high speed, filling and packaging automated material handling equipment to ensure production and quality standards are met. They will help implement and perform Preventive Maintenance on all production and plant equipment, with a focus on the Processing, Fluid- handling systems.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of processing equipment, machinery and ensuring safety, sanitation, quality, and reliability standards are met.
- Oversee and manage the facility's processing maintenance program, analyzing equipment failures and implementing corrective actions to improve reliability of the processing system.
- Provide technical training to management and team members.
- Coordinate and manage work performed by external contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants.
- Develop and execute PM work schedules.
- Perform daily quality checks and reports to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices
- Maintain organized part storage processes and manage vendor accounts for cost-effective part replenishments.
- Troubleshoot HTST, Aseptic, and CIP operations with advanced problem-solving skills
- Audit and enhance the technical knowledge and abilities of the plant for continuous improvement.
- Possess general mechanical skills, including the expert knowledge of pumps and values used on sterile processing systems.
- Manage all projects pertaining to processing equipment and upgrades.
- Communicate effectively with all plant personnel.
- Assist the quality department in maintaining an "audit-ready" condition.
- Adapt work schedules based on priorities and respond quickly to changes.
- Motivate, train, and effectively communicate with shift teams to enhance performance.
- Conduct team meetings to communicate expectations and foster a collaborative environment with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with Maintenance Management software setup and functionality.
- Ability to develop preventative maintenance practices for sterile fluid handling systems and processing equipment.
- Experience in diagnosing equipment downtime root causes and implementing preventive measures.
- Knowledge of part storage processes and vendor account management for cost-effective part replenishments.
- Understanding of the business needs and Maintenance's role.
- Availability to work off-shift and during plant emergencies.
