What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hose Assembly Technician (12pm - 9pm) position at Gregory Poole Equipment Company?
PRIMARY FUNCTION:Responsible for assembling, diagnosing and repairing both Cat and non-Cat hoses to customer specifications.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Assembles, diagnose and repairs hoses according to customer specifications.
Troubleshoots and determines proper repair procedures for failed CAT and non-CAT hose assembly.
Inspects, disassembles and determines parts needed and reassembles hoses to factory specifications.
Interprets and utilizes information from Caterpillar’s Hose Information System (HIS) and Service Information Systems (SIS) programs.
Prepares parts requisitions and other necessary paperwork.
MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:
Education:
High School Graduate
Work Experience:
Five years of experience assembling hydraulic hoses.
Physical:
Must be able to periodically lift parts weighting up to 60 lbs.
Other:
Must have excellent customer service skills; Must be proficient with MS Office.
