PRIMARY FUNCTION :

This GPEC summer internship will provide support to the Sales team by assisting with work tool inventory, storage and the ordering process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

  • Perform an entire work tool inventory and set a baseline of current in stock and lost / misplaced items.
  • Work with the yard technicians to determine the best location and operation for work tool inventory and storage.
  • Assist the Sales operations team on work tool ordering and the inventory process which includes barcode / QR code "app" usage.
  • Document all work tool related processes for submittal to the sales and rental operations teams to create an improved system for ordering, tracking and inventorying work tools.
  • Greet truck drivers upon entering the equipment yard.
  • Load and unload equipment from trucks as required by the Sales and Rental departments.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

Education :

College junior or senior pursuing a related BA / BS degree in Sales, Business, Construction or related field.

Work Experience : see above)

Physical :

Ability to work outside for several hours at a time to complete work tool physical inventories. Ability to sit and utilize Laptop / PC for extensive periods. Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

Other :

Must have beginner / intermediate PC exposure to enter basic information into mainly MS software.
