This position requires proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit and strong project management skills.

Job Description:
As a Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Engineer at GRA Design Studios, you will be responsible for the following:
- HVAC Design: Perform load calculations, develop HVAC system layouts, and be responsible for HVAC material to meet project goals. You will also develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely delivery.
- Plumbing and Gas Piping: Size and design plumbing and gas piping systems, ensuring all layouts are accurate and code-compliant. Collaborate with other disciplines to seamlessly integrate these systems into the overall building design.
- Layout Creation: Develop detailed mechanical, electrical and plumbing layouts using AutoCAD and/or Revit, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with standards.
- Project Management: Oversee engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Maintain transparent communication with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and detailed reporting.
- Documentation and Quality Assurance: Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and documentation. Conduct pre and post construction site visits and inspections to verify that installations meet design intent and participate in the commissioning process.
- Professional Development: Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies. Attend training sessions, workshops, and seminars to maintain professional certifications and licenses, contributing innovative ideas to improve processes.
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a closely related field from a 4-year accredited college or university.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of engineering, with proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit. Experience in performing HVAC calculations, designing HVAC systems, and generating mechanical layouts is essential. Experience in sizing plumbing and gas piping systems is also required.
- Certification: Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
- Skills: Strong project management, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
