Job Description:
As a Part-Time Collections Representative (20 hrs/week), you will be responsible for contacting customers to follow up on overdue accounts and working to resolve outstanding balances. You will be expected to handle calls and correspondence professionally while maintaining a high level of customer service. This position requires an in-person presence at our office during business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contacting customers via phone, email, and mail to follow up on overdue accounts.
- Negotiating payment arrangements and ensuring timely collections.
- Documenting account status and payment history in the company’s system.
- Providing excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism.
- Resolving customer inquiries and disputes related to overdue accounts.
- Maintaining confidentiality and complying with all relevant regulations and policies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in collections, customer service, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Detail-oriented and organized with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
