Position Overview: Gregory Ralph, Architect | GRA Design Studio is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. We provide architectural and design services for commercial and residential projects, focusing on custom design.

Responsibilities:
- Design and integrate electrical systems for buildings, ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements.
- Coordinate with architects and other engineers to incorporate electrical designs into overall building plans.
- Perform calculations and simulations to optimize electrical systems for efficiency and reliability.
- Prepare specifications, review contractor submissions, and conduct site inspections during construction.
- Implement energy-efficient practices and sustainable design principles in electrical system designs.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs, present design solutions, and address feedback.
- Ensure designs meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety codes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve project goals and support firm objectives.
Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering (Required)
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in designing electrical systems for buildings or similar projects.
- Proficiency in project management software for tracking and managing project progress.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and contract documentation across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED certification processes.
- Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) software such as Revit.
