About Gregorys Coffee Gregorys Coffee was founded in 2006 with an ambitious spirit to challenge the status quo by seeing coffee differently. We source and roast our own coffee beans, produce all of our pastries in-house, and take pride in serving specialty coffee to a diverse group of customers (known to us as our Gregulars!).

As Assistant Store Leader, you will be empowered to take a hands-on approach to learning how to lead a team and drive the business with direct support from your District Leader.
Key Responsibilities :
As an Assistant Store Leader, you will be a brand ambassador and beacon of culture for both your team and your customers. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the below key areas.
People Development
You will :
Create a warm and inclusive environment for your team and your customersWork alongside your team to prepare specialty coffee and espresso beverages, including latte art (we'll teach you!)Train new team members while validating their ability to confidently uphold brand standardsProvide ongoing education and development for all team members, to ensure excellent standards for coffee, food, and customer service are consistently upheldAdhere to local and state labor lawsOperations Standards
You will :
Oversee the store's coffee & beverage program by conducting quality checks and providing continuous team education to ensure brand standards are consistently executedOversee the store's food program-including fresh baked pastries, hot sandwiches, and grab & go-by conducting quality checks and providing continuous team education to ensure brand standards are consistently executedOversee the store's food safety and cleanliness protocols, ensuring compliance with the Department of HealthOversee all cash handling policies, including making depositsRole model excellent customer service to build a community of Gregulars within your storeFinancial Performance
With support from your District Leader, you will :
Learn to manage inventory metrics (COGS)Learn to manage labor metrics and to write strategic schedulesLearn to manage turnover metrics by creating a positive employee experienceLearn to grow the business by creating store action plans to build sales and customer foot trafficLearn to create and execute store action plans to continuously improve while solving problemsThe Gregorys Coffee culture includes but is not limited to :
