Your challenge
Job Requirements
- Perform investigations as assigned.
- Conducts production investigations and determines root cause and support in the implementation of corrective/preventative actions.
- Monitor and propose improvements in manufacturing workflows and resources.
- Creates and maintains required documentation for manufacturing processes.
- Implement actions for preventing waste and production inefficiencies.
- Propose and support the implementation of actions to maximize safety, quality and reduce costs.
- Support installation and startup of new production systems.
- Resolves issues and delays in production.
- Execute OPEX activities as assigned.
- Execute DOEs in collaboration with the Process and Engineering team.
- Ensures that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations.
- Support development and improvement of production, processes, and personnel.
- Execute activities related to Change Control and Corrective and Preventive Actions.
- Execute validation activities within the department.
- Investigate production quality deviation and customer claims.
- Qualification and training of production personnel
- Stays up to date with international engineering trends by visiting trade shows, researching relevant emerging technologies, and/or evaluating supplier’s capabilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in industrial related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods. Knowledge Injection Molding and/or high thruput automated assembling process are preferable.
- Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Problem-solving, communication, and listening skills.
- Proven ability to analyze and troubleshoot production processes.
- Project management Knowledge.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
